Fishbone's first....

Snow, that is. She looks enchanted by it, doesn't she? Sadly, it turned to rain last night and it is mostly gone this morning, leaving a treacherous layer of ice over the sidewalks, roadways and parking lots. How do I know? I fell out of my car this morning....got where I was going, put my feet out the door and landed on my face. It happened so fast I didn't even have time to gasp. And tomorrow? It's gonna feel like whiplash. I am already stiffening up so I am out the door for walkies to try to work it all out before it settles in. See ya!

Oh no. Maybe a long soak in a hot tub will make the stiffness not too bad.

I stepped off the stairs and onto our slick sidewalk this morning when taking the kids to school. Didn't fall, but a lot flailing arms and skidding amused my son so much he was still snickering when I dropped him off at school. No respect....

So does that mean you will soon be posting pics of skidding hookers? I wanna see that!

It snowed hard on Thursday and it has not gone anywhere! Sorry about your fall. Can you get somebody nice to rub your neck for you?

I'm sorry about the fall - I HATE ice and snow - like snow if I don't have to go out in it. Never liked ice.

Tod is so funny.

Anyway. I love the look my dog gets when the wind is crisp and the snow begins to fall. She almost kicks up her heels as she runs. Hope your walk did some good, at least for the spirit, if not the bones. I agree with Olly - a warm bath may be the way to go.

Oh the bath thing...we have not tackled the bathroom reno yet...there is no soaking in a tub as woefully shallow as this one. Someone who knew this house before we did told us the owners TOOK OUT a clawfoot tub (and the original black and white tiles) to put in the shin deep "spa tub" that is in there now. If I FILL that tub, it would barely cover my legs. THEY TOOK OUT A CLAWFOOT TUB!!!! Ass-hats. Supreme ASSHATS. I have never "bathed" here, only showered. What's the point, really, of whirlpools jetting your ankles?

They took out an old clawfoot!? They should be shot!!!

I had some near misses before I even made it to the car this morning and the dogs walked as though they were wearing heels...little trit-trots down the garden path.
Take it easy and I hope you're feeling fit as a fiddle tomorrow.

I did that once. In April. In Texas. It was so shocking I am still not believing it. Blasted ice.

I hope you are feeling ok!

Cindy-Diane, I was taken by suprise by Texas weather a time or two myself. Who knew how frickin' cold it could get living on the Gulf of Mexico?!? Sounded so, I don't know, TROPICAL at the time!
