Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh," he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?" "Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw, "I just wanted to be sure of you."

friday night at em's
we may never leave this place..... happy dreams, everyone. have a great weekend.
this one is perfect....i love it! now i just can't leave you alone in the room with these two...then you might start treating hugh like the third wheel again....
Add a little Johnny Depp to the scene and you've got the perfect evening when I come to chaperon the party...can't leave you two wild and crazy girls in the same room with these unsuspecting gentlemen. P.S. my old dictionary describes a chaperon as an elderly woman in charge of a girl on social occasions...but we won't tell Johnny that!
Boy, I've missed a week's worth of posts. You've been very busy! The apartment looks beautiful, what a view.
I love the images you paint with your words in the west coast winters post. And you are right about the Killz - but it sure works wonders. I have never seen dragon fruit - but I will watch for it. We like to try new things. So you are a John Prine fan! Me, too! I saw him in Chicago, he opened for Steve Goodman. There is a bit of folklore about our neighborhood - Forest Hills - and the ghosts of some Potawatomi Indians. I've never seen them, but it is pretty cool to imagine.
Thanks for the nice read on this cold Saturday afternoon!
cara, you are more than welcome to come by anytime, no need to call ahead. leslie and i won't be leaving, how could we leave the house when hugh and vincent are there?
Wow you are simply amazing! I know what you're doing means so much to Em but it also means a lot to the rest of us that love Em. She's a very lucky girl to have a friend like you! Great painting job by the way...and killz, I've never heard of that stuff...good to know! p.s.- hugh can stay but only if he talks with his accent!
