here's hoping

That you got some sunshine today, too. We got some. The day started out grey and blustery but late afternoon is sunny and warm.
Dirt under my fingernails from the garden, skin feeling fuzzy and warm... Emma had a nice roll in green grass, she smells so good.

Yeah, um...that was me.

Apparently my son the genius and his buddies have gotten themselves a gmail account. I think his computer time is over for awhile!!

So much reading and catching up to do...I had a busy weekend. My sister came down on Saturday and on Sunday morning we went to Vancouver to pick up her new puppy (the only siblings to escape the gas chamber in the same high-kill facility that Casper was rescued from). We brought little Libby back to Sechelt and Jayne stayed on until Monday, so no time to blog read. It was gorgeous here today and I spent two hours giving the backyard it's first cut and trim...looks soooo good and felt good to be outside working hard.
Your tribute photo and poems for VT are very touching.
And...I'M THRILLED YOU'RE STAYING PUT FOR THE TIME BEING!

I only went away for a few minutes and when I came back there was yet another post to enjoy. It's like Narnia over here :)

Not much sunshine here. I think that it's going to warm up again, later today, but for now...yuck.
Shawn and I just itching to get in the garden, and to toss our winter jackets.

It's starting, thank god. Today I did a tour of the back yard and found a few brave little plants working their way back into the world.

I never realised your spring was so many weeks behind the UK. Is that normal or just due to this years weather?

isn't she just the cutest?

I think that we have finally gotten to the warmer part of Spring here in the Great State. It took a while, but it should be warm for my ride on Sunday.
