This long, grey, cold, snowy, wet winter spiced with the ongoing neighbourhood issues and losing Michael's father really knocked the wind out of our sails. And it isn't done yet. We still don't have a definite plan on what we will be doing with our home.
This limbo state is hard to deal with. I want to start working on some projects around here if we are staying...time's a wasting, but don't feel the urge to start them if we are not staying. It's all personal touches the next owner may not appreciate...and maybe it's not too late to put in the peach tree this year, but probably.

All the same, it was nice to get lost for a while. I missed this part of myself the past few months. Of course, the deluge of rain the past while has made it harder to enjoy walkies or photography. So it's been a slow start to the season. One step forward, two steps back. My flower gardens out front are taking off, though, and my raspberries are sending out new growth, as well as the blueberries. Mmmmm mmmmm.

I'm glad that your head has cleared enough to focus on showing us more amazing photo's! The leaf patterns are truly amazing I can see how you get distracted when out on your walks!
Hello!
Welcome back! (I actually think you've never lost your passionate eye over the winter.)
Ohhhhhh....that leaf is so tragic and beautiful. It's like a butterfly's wings.
Hang in there, my friend.
'one step forward and two steps back' i know just where you are with that one, hoping the warmer days to come will warm you up again x
