Who taught my mom to Forward bad jokes, right-wing political bullshit, "urgent messages," "this is a true story" emails and countless photo pages???? This is for you...(it doesn't matter how old this photo is, does it? The sentiment is exactly the same!!!!!!)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Look at my precious Maggie...lovers you, Sweetie. Miss you, Chicken.

My mom would be right there with her if she was still around. And I with you.

Consider yourself lucky. My mom doesn't send me that stuff -- my friends do -- with a note asking me if it's true! I refer them all to Snopes.com and try not to be too rude when I suggest they try thinking before forwarding.

You could always bombard her with left-wing political bullshit, Onion articles, and obscene YouTube videos. Although I suspect your rather do that to whoever sends them to her.

When I worked in I.T. there was an e-mail going around about a man with a trunk full of knives praying on women in the car park at the local Mall. No matter how hard we tried to block them the staff insisted they knew a friend of a friend of a friend that had escasped from him.

So they would re-send them as a warning to others. It seems that sometimes people just want to be scared.

Your mom discovered the computer, too, huh? Mine also forwards stuff backing up her religous beliefs, knowing full well they are not mine.

I also have a family friend who forwards very off-color jokes and countless pictures of bare-breasted women. Sometimes I think he has the mentality of a 12 year old.

I am getting pretty quick with the delete button, lol.
