Had an update from Emily about our friend...and her darling one, the wee one..."
Ashton had surgery yesterday. He seems to be doing well...he's on intense pain medication and is still intabated. He'll be coming off both of those over the next couple of days. They can't hold him or touch him but they can get in and see him. Hopefully he'll be coming home in a couple of weeks." Thanks for all the well wishes for someone you don't even know. It seems to be working.

As a parent with a child who has multiple special needs please reassure your friend of the advances in treatment and surgeries now. It is truly miraculous. Be strong for her.
